I live in Grangetown, Cardiff, Married to Emma, two son’s    Dominic and Gideon

I’m a facilities manager for Chapter Arts Centre, Canton  Cardiff

I first started training in the summer of 95 at my place of work where Master Green had just started a new class. I was looking for something to do, and was impressed by the quiet polite students leaving the building. Rather than the loud show off’s you sometimes see.

Being asked to give the Welsh Cho Dan Bo’s their Black Belts in a presentation, as Master Green was unable to attend.

This was my proudest moment because one of the students was my son Dominic.

Travelling to Connecticut USA, Meeting Master Beaudoin and Master Haney

Living and training with Master Valentin, Master Rachel Valentin and their boys

Attending a black belt weekend at Waterbury, region 9

Scariest moment in Tang Soo Do

Meeting master Beaudoin in his Dojang Connecticut, he asked if I would like to assist with his junior classes which was fun, then I joined in the senior class, with 1^st 2^nd   and 3^rd  Dans, which was great, till half way through, when Master Beaudoin suddenly said “Mr Turton would you like to take over” !!
